  1. Thanks for the mention, Roger! Sorry to hear about your oldest dog. It’s tough when you have to put one down. Best of luck with the office pool. And be sure to take your wife out if you all win! 🙂

Ryan thanks for the comment. Really enjoyed the post. Sadly this is the second dog we’ve had to put down since August. The first one was sick and then Max was getting much too aggressive. He was 12 and the other dog was 11. Austin our remaining dog is 12 as well and we’re hoping he sticks around for awhile. As far as the brackets went, the win by Michigan put us out of the running, but as always the games were exciting.

  2. Sorry to hear about your dog Roger, I know that is never fun. My bracket is completely busted and Louisville is the only team I have left. Have a great weekend!

Thanks John. Max is the second dog we’ve had to put down in less than a year, our Chow became sick in August and we had no viable alternative. Very tough as she was 11 and Max was 12, like family members. Aside from the pool I wouldn’t mind seeing Louisville or Michigan take it all.

  3. Roger–Thanks for including me. Sorry to hear about your dog. Ugh. I used to think that people who had dogs who treated them like children were straight up (straight up is not the actual term I used) crazy…until I got one. My heart goes out to you.

    • Roger Wohlner says:

Thanks Jason, Max was 12 and a great dog, but we had think of our safety and that of anyone else he might encounter on a walk, etc.

  4. I’m sorry to hear about your dog Roger I know how tough it can be. Great round up of articles.

  5. Hi Roger, So sorry about the dog!! Thanks for the AARP article promo 🙂 Best, Barb

  6. Sorry to hear about the dog. Hope you have a wonderful week!
